When two polar bear cubs’ mother dies, they wander into Churchill Manitoba where Cory is playing in his front yard. Assuming they are hungry, he gives them peanut butter & jelly sandwich’s which he then names them. When Cory’s parents find out he is keeping two polar bear cubs, they tell him, “In the morning, we will have to turn the cubs over to the authorities.”

Later that night, Cory decides he is going to take the two cubs and move to the North Pole where no one can find them. As Cory is crossing Hudson Bay on his 3,000-mile journey to the North Pole, the worst snowstorm ever recorded hits Churchill Manitoba with wind chills pushing well below -100 F or -73 C.

Will Cory and the two cubs make the journey?
